Dr. Harminder (Harman) Singh
Neurosurgery, Stanford, CA
Dr. Harminder (Harman) Singh is Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at Stanford University School of Medicine, serves as Chief of Neurosurgery at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, California, and is the Director of Neurotrauma. He is board certified in neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
He received advanced training in minimally invasive cranial surgery from Cornell University and completed a complex cerebrovascular and skull base fellowship at the University of Washington.
Dr. Singh is passionate about resident education, having organized numerous cadaveric workshops and didactic symposiums for residents. He is editor of two books on pediatric endoscopic surgery and has published over 85 research papers and book chapters. He is a frequently sought-after speaker and has lectured nationally and internationally.
Dr. Singh is also interested in shaping public policy related to the delivery of health care in the US, both in the public and private sectors, thru improving efficiency, ensuring quality, and strengthening equitable access to healthcare.
Dr. Singh is the immediate Past-President of the American Association of South Asian Neurosurgeons.

Ajit Singh
Artiman Ventures, Palo Alto, CA
Ajit Singh focuses on early-stage Technology and Life Science investments. He currently represents Artiman on the boards of Aditazz, CORE Diagnostics, medECUBE, and Visby Medical.
Ajit is also an Adjunct Professor in the School of Medicine at Stanford University and serves on the Board of Directors of Max Healthcare based in New Delhi, India.
Prior to joining Artiman, Ajit was the President and CEO of BioImagene (acquired by Roche), a Digital Pathology company. Before BioImagene, Ajit spent nearly twenty years at Siemens in various roles, most recently as the Chief Executive Officer of the Digital Radiology and Medical Informatics business of Siemens Healthcare.
His previous roles included President and CEO of the Oncology Care Systems Group, Group Vice President of Siemens e-Health, and Vice President of Siemens Health Services. From 1989 to 1995, he was at Siemens Corporate Research working on Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Computer Vision, and Image Analysis. During this time, he concurrently served on the faculty at Princeton University.
Ajit has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia University, a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University, India. He has published two books and numerous refereed articles and holds five patents.

Tina Singh

Lead Attorney for transformational technology companies, including Enterprise Software, Cloud, SaaS, Security, Storage, AI, Pharmaceuticals, Analytics, Machine Learning and Wearables in multiple legal subject areas for Start-Ups, including Formation, Corporate Governance, Licensing, Securities, Stock Option Plans, Executive Compensation, Financings, M&A, Privacy, Strategic Business Development and Sales.
Tina brings her experience as a former Partner at a large national law firm, Board Member, VC Advisor, Start-Up Teacher, Mentor and Author to first time CEOs, Board Members, and Venture Investors. Tina has set up contract law processes for public companies and served both as a Serial General Counsel to early and mid stage Start-ups and an "as needed" senior legal advisor to later stage companies. Tina is a Legal Chair for "Essentials of Entrepreneurship", a guide book for entrepreneurs, Nine Year Board Member for the Palo Alto Area Bar Association, TV Broadcaster on the International Channel and TiE Charter Member. Tina is admitted to practice law in both California and Washington D.C. She hopes to use her knowledge and experiences to educate others and give back to the community that has supported her through her endeavors.

Sumer Singh Johal

Sumer Johal is a seasoned technology and business leader with over 25 years of professional experience in building and managing technology-first organizations with high-performance teams across multiple industries and global geographies. Throughout his journey, Mr. Johal has led the disruptions of some of the world’s largest Industries in the Telecom, Consumer Retail, Financial Services, Semiconductor, Renewable Energy and Agriculture sectors, at both private- and publicly-traded companies, in the US and around the world.

Mr. Johal grew up in an agriculture family in Northern India (Punjab) and came to the US as a teenager. He earned a BS and MS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a minor in economics.

Navneet is a project manager for GIS water projects at second largest water utility in California. She enjoys travelling and serving her community. She lives in Moraga California with her husband and two sons.

Dr. Jewel Johl
Oncologist, Walnut Creek, CA
Dr. Jewel Johl is a seasoned medical professional and licensed / board certified medical doctor with a field specialty in oncology and hematology.
When completed his medical education at Loyola University of Chicago; Internship/Residency/Fellowship at University of California, Davis​.
His specialty is in Hematology/Medical Oncology: Diagnosis and treatment of blood diseases and disorders, especially related to cancer treatment​. He is certified by American Board of IM/Medical Oncology.
His clinical interest is in conquering cancer together.
